          ABOUT WES

          長(zhǎng)沙瑋希外籍人員子女學(xué)校(原長(zhǎng)沙瑋希國(guó)際學(xué)校)成立于2010年,是湖南省一所國(guó)家教育部批準(zhǔn)設(shè)立的國(guó)際學(xué)校,是國(guó)際文憑組織授權(quán)的IB世界學(xué)校、CAIE授權(quán)的劍橋國(guó)際學(xué)校、微軟認(rèn)證學(xué)校和國(guó)際學(xué)校聯(lián)盟認(rèn)證的CIS國(guó)際學(xué)校。學(xué)校是湖南省一所以英語(yǔ)為第一教學(xué)語(yǔ)言的學(xué)校,主要招收外籍人士子女及海歸人才子女,為3-19歲學(xué)生提供完整、專業(yè)的國(guó)際課程。

          Changsha WES Academy was established in 2010. It is the only international school in Hunan Province approved by the Ministry of Education of China. The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as an IB World School, authorized by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) as a Cambridge International School, certified as a Microsoft Certified School, and accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). It is the only school in Hunan Province that uses English as the primary language of instruction. The school mainly enrolls children of foreign nationals and returnees, providing a complete and professional international curriculum for students aged 3 to 19 years old.

          The high school department of Changsha WES Academy offers mainstream international high school programs such as Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A-Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). It provides a wide range of course options, strong background support, and professional college counseling services for high school students who aspire to study abroad, ensuring that each student can pursue their ideal university based on their own interests, strengths, and plans.

          WES has brought together an outstanding group of elite teachers from around the world with international backgrounds and extensive credentials, which ensures that the concept of cultivating lifelong learners with a global perspective is better realized.  CWIH is staffed by more than 30 teachers from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and China.

          Changsha WES International High School provides students with a multi-dimensional, tiered million scholarship policy, evaluating scholarships based on students' academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, community service, and other achievements. Both external applicants and current students can apply for scholarships. The policy includes different levels of scholarships covering partial to full tuition fees, as well as scholarships for further education. WES scholarship policy encourages students to strive for excellence in all aspects of education and personal growth, while also providing support for students who demonstrate outstanding talent and dedication.

          我們采用小班制的個(gè)性化教學(xué)模式,每個(gè)教學(xué)班級(jí)的平均學(xué)生數(shù)量不超過(guò)25人。在此基礎(chǔ)上,我們針對(duì)每個(gè)學(xué)科實(shí)行精確的分層教學(xué),確保每位學(xué)生得到充足的教育資源和大學(xué)申請(qǐng)的各項(xiàng)支持。

          We adopt a small class personalized teaching model, The average number of students per teaching class no more than 25. On this basis, we implement precise differentiated instruction for each subject to ensure that every student has sufficient educational resources and support for university applications.

           

          升學(xué)指導(dǎo)

          College Counseling

          我們會(huì)通過(guò)遞進(jìn)式面談和系統(tǒng)的生涯規(guī)劃,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對(duì)學(xué)術(shù)規(guī)劃和職業(yè)規(guī)劃的認(rèn)知,并進(jìn)行針對(duì)性指導(dǎo)并會(huì)引導(dǎo)學(xué)生參與各類研究型課外活動(dòng)以及指導(dǎo)學(xué)生獨(dú)立完成大學(xué)申請(qǐng)文書(shū)寫作,協(xié)助完成申請(qǐng)各項(xiàng)步驟。

          We will cultivate students' awareness of academic and career planning through progressive interviews and systematic career planning. We will provide targeted guidance and encourage students to participate in various research-based extracurricular activities. We will also guide students in independently completing college application essays and assist them in completing all application steps.

          02-社會(huì)實(shí)踐|CAS(Creativity、Activity、Service)

           

          CAS一直以來(lái)作為IBDP課程里學(xué)生必修的三大核心之一,如同IB課程價(jià)值觀的指明燈,不僅幫助學(xué)生發(fā)展為獨(dú)一無(wú)二的個(gè)體,為學(xué)生提供探索個(gè)人興趣、體現(xiàn)個(gè)人熱情、性格與觀點(diǎn)的機(jī)會(huì)。也給予了學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)之余更多的樂(lè)趣和眼界。

          CAS has long been one of the three cores required of students in the IBDP, and serves as a beacon of values for the IB curriculum, not only helping students develop as unique individuals and providing them with opportunities to explore their personal interests and reflect their passions, personalities and perspectives. It also gives students the opportunity to have more fun and see beyond their studies.

          而對(duì)于瑋希的高中生們而言,每年的對(duì)龍山里耶民族中學(xué)的幫扶活動(dòng)無(wú)疑成為了他們眾多CAS Trip中最為特別、難忘的存在。學(xué)生們近年來(lái)組織的圣誕盲盒活動(dòng)、春季音樂(lè)會(huì)義賣活動(dòng)、藝術(shù)拍賣活動(dòng),以及一年一度的龍山支教活動(dòng),瑋希高中生們都在努力在為龍山里耶中學(xué)的伙伴們募集籌款,為他們帶去春日的希望、夏日的清涼、秋日的收獲以及冬日的溫暖。

          For WESer, the annual support activities for  Longshan Liye Ethnic High School have become the most special and memorable part of their CAS Trip. In recent years, the students have organized activities such as Christmas blind box events, spring music concert charity sales, art auctions, and the annual Longshan teaching support activity. Each child is doing his or her best to help them.

          素養(yǎng)課程(Co-curricular Activities,CCA)是教育中不可或缺的一部分。為了豐富學(xué)生們的校園生活,長(zhǎng)沙瑋希國(guó)際高中為學(xué)生們提供了多樣化的CCA,包括運(yùn)動(dòng)類、文藝類和學(xué)術(shù)類等。學(xué)生可以根據(jù)自己的興趣愛(ài)好和擅長(zhǎng)領(lǐng)域來(lái)選擇合適的CCA。

          Co-curricular activities (CCA) are an essential part of education. In order to enrich students' campus life, Changsha WES International High School provides a diverse range of CCA, including sports, arts, and academic activities. Students can choose suitable CCA based on their interests and areas of expertise.
