　　美國(guó)藍(lán)帶加州匯點(diǎn)高中閔行校區(qū)有幸邀請(qǐng)到較強(qiáng)大腦第二季12強(qiáng)選手陳立庚先生就“選擇比努力更重要”一題給匯點(diǎn)的學(xué)子們帶來(lái)了精彩的講座。

　　It’s our honor to invite Mr. Chen, the Top 12 member from Super Brain S2, having a address about Choice is more important than Effort for our first Crosspoint Talk - Guest Talk which brings a wonderful lecture to the students.

　　通過(guò)列舉自身經(jīng)歷與學(xué)習(xí)方法的介紹，生動(dòng)形象地表達(dá)了自身觀點(diǎn)。

　　By enumerating his own experience and methods to introduce the vivid image of the expression of his views.

　　專業(yè)選擇/Major

　　我們也即將面臨人生中重要的選擇，許多同學(xué)也面臨著不知道如何選擇未來(lái)專業(yè)的問(wèn)題，以此為論點(diǎn)，真實(shí)經(jīng)歷為論據(jù)，陳立庚先生為各位同學(xué)提了個(gè)醒：不要盲目追隨潮流，要看透本質(zhì)，或聽(tīng)取父母的建議，要了解自己真正的興趣愛(ài)好，在每一步的選擇前都要深思熟慮，看清利弊。

　　We are also about to face important choices in our lives. Many students are also faced with the problem of how to choose their future major. On the basis of the real experience of this argument, Mr. Chen reminded us that you should not blindly follow the trend, but to see through the essence, or listen to the advice of your parents. You should understand your real interests and hobbies. Think before you leap.

　　考研/Postgraduate

　　對(duì)于我們以后是否決定考研，陳立庚先生也提出了忠告：要想好日后的發(fā)展，明確定位。同時(shí)他也對(duì)各位提出了要求：要挖掘潛力，不要滿足當(dāng)下，多嘗試不可能，使自身更具備競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力，就如他在日常的學(xué)習(xí)之余，還嘗試了與其專業(yè)無(wú)關(guān)的比賽，如華為銷售精英挑戰(zhàn)賽并獲得了第四名的好成績(jī)。

　　Regarding to our future plan, Mr. Chen Ligeng also suggested that if we are going to study master programme, we have to decide our career area before choose the university and programme. At the same time, he also required that we should try our best to develop our potential and be more competitive. For example, he also tried many none-academic related contests during his free time, such as Huawei sales contest and win the forth place.

　　要提高自身的抗壓能力，同時(shí)還要擁有一定的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力。他給我們列舉了有關(guān)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力的四個(gè)提升方向：

　　we should improve our own compressive capacity. At the same time, we also need to have certain leadership ability, which is more insightful than enumerating the promotion direction:

　　1. 組建團(tuán)隊(duì)/Team formation

　　2. 掌控全局/Overall Control

　　3. 協(xié)調(diào)內(nèi)部/Internal Coordination

　　4. 觀察入微/Observations

　　針對(duì)一直困擾同學(xué)們的記憶力提升問(wèn)題，他給出了一些實(shí)用的方法如聯(lián)想法、推理法、拆解法。

　　Some practical methods, such as association and reasoning, are also given to improve students’ memory skill.

　　現(xiàn)場(chǎng)氣氛熱烈，同學(xué)們踴躍提問(wèn)發(fā)言。第一期匯點(diǎn)說(shuō)成功舉辦。

　　The atmosphere was warm and the students were eager to ask questions. The first event was held successfully.
