　　Kindergarten to G5 幼兒園大班至五年級

　　(6-12歲)

　　Through its inquiry-led, transdisciplinary framework, the PYP challenges students to think for themselves, to take responsibility for their learning, and to explore local and global issues in real-life contexts.

　　There are 6 themes students cover over the year where subjects are integrated and taught in context to the theme. The HQIS curriculum consists of PYP stage based curriculum and American AERO standards allowing HQIS to focus on both academic and social development. PYP teaches students HOW to learn – not just WHAT to learn.

　　此階段將通過探究單元體現(xiàn)跨學(xué)科教學(xué)框架，PYP課程培養(yǎng)學(xué)生對自身進(jìn)行思考，對自己的學(xué)習(xí)承擔(dān)責(zé)任以及在真實環(huán)境下探索身邊以及全球性議題。

　　每個學(xué)年學(xué)生將學(xué)習(xí)6個主題單元，各個學(xué)科都將融入到主題內(nèi)容中進(jìn)行教學(xué)。著重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生如何學(xué)習(xí)，而不只是學(xué)習(xí)什么。
