The summer holidays are a valuable time for students to relax and unwind, as well as an excellent opportunity for them to improve themselves and 'leapfrog' the rest of the world. During this special time, some children choose to deepen their studies and explore the unknown, while others choose to put down their books for a while and indulge in video games, mobile media and other recreational activities.

So how is it that some children are able to value their summer holidays so much and use them for learning? The answer lies in the fact that they have strong internal motivation. Intrinsic motivation is the strong desire and drive to learn and explore that comes from a student's desire for knowledge and a sense of achievement.

At ISA Science City, we strive to cultivate inner motivation in our children so that they love to learn and enjoy knowledge from within.
