Georgia School Ningbo maximizes student potential within multiple areas of life. The GSN University Counseling Center guides students toward admission into top ranked universities that will continue to enhance the personal and professional lives of students. GSN High School seniors, graduating on June 20, 2020, have worked with diligence on their university applications to schools located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia.

Early Acceptance
Justin joined GSN as a grade 9 transfer student. Having previously studied at an art school in Jiangsu province, Justin found a more enriching, well-rounded and rigorous academic experience at GSN, in which both the arts and the sciences are respected equally as areas of great professional potential. Justin is a talented artist with natural abilities; he recognizes that in order to be a great artist he must be well-versed in scientific, literary and cultural knowledge, in addition to his training in the arts. Justin dreams of designing a global fashion brand that promotes access to all people; regardless of race, culture, ability, gender or socioeconomic status. Justin is well on his way to achieving his goal! GSN congratulates Justin on his early admission to UAL and we look forward to the multiple admissions to follow from the GSN Graduating Class of 2020!

This month, GSN High Schoolers also had the unique opportunity to visit the University of Nottingham Ningbo (UNNC), touring its campus and learning more about course programs, student community life and involvement, intercampus study and many more UNNC opportunities.

College Applications
At GSN, each student takes ownership and manages their own university application process. Through this, "students become more equipped for university life", as stated by our Guidance Counselor, who also provides the necessary support throughout their academic life at GSN. The strenuous application process helps students develop independence, time management and organization skills. By personally contacting universities and directly engaging with all of their school options, the application process becomes normalized, improving the student's confidence and providing a more accessible and personal learning experience.
