國際圓點日 | International Dot Day
 

　　上周五，我們在“學(xué)習(xí)成果展示早會(COLA)”上慶祝了“國際圓點日”。東華文澤學(xué)校的同學(xué)們展示了他們的創(chuàng)意，以及在過去兩周不同學(xué)科里學(xué)習(xí)到的知識。

　　We had a blast celebrating the International Dot Day at the COLA (Celebration Of Learning Assembly) last Friday. It showcased their creativity and learning over the last 2 weeks in different subjects.

　　大家穿上波點服裝、畫好彩妝，準備開始早會的表演!

　　Everyone in the school including the Head of Schools, Mr. Arturo Ruelas, the Principal, Ms. Ann Gaillard, teachers, staff and students participated in the celebration.

　　小小的圓點可以是考試你創(chuàng)造力的謎題，也可以是幫助你應(yīng)對不同數(shù)學(xué)難題的解題方法。

　　中學(xué)同學(xué)和他們的數(shù)學(xué)老師準備了一些數(shù)學(xué)題來考考家長和同學(xué)們。

　　Dots can be puzzles to test your creativity but also be solutions to different challenges.

　　MYP students prepared some quizzes with their math teacher to engage parents and classmates.

　　“國際圓點日”是為了鼓勵所有人不論年紀大小，勇于發(fā)掘自己的才能，和分享自己的創(chuàng)意以激勵他人。

　　在班主任和視覺藝術(shù)老師的指導(dǎo)下，不同年級的TWIS學(xué)生創(chuàng)作了不同類型的藝術(shù)作品，并在禮堂上展覽出來。

　　On International Dot Day, people of all ages are encouraged to embrace their talents and share their creativity to inspire others.

　　Under the guidance of their homeroom and visual arts teachers, TWIS students in different grades created various types of artwork that were proudly displayed in the auditorium.
