Elite課程倡導(dǎo)以博雅教育為軸心，創(chuàng)“人文學(xué)術(shù)科研研討課程”融入中學(xué)教學(xué)體 系，旨在培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的高級(jí)人文學(xué)術(shù)修養(yǎng)和適應(yīng)未來大學(xué)課程所需的學(xué)術(shù)研究能力，較終 幫助學(xué)生成功跨越全球院校的文化壁壘，使其更具備“英美學(xué)校”錄取的獨(dú)特競(jìng)爭(zhēng) 力。
我們將通過“批判性思維”、“寫作和閱讀(歷史文獻(xiàn))”、“辯論能力”、“同 理心“四方面來培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的人文素養(yǎng)。每年選拔學(xué)生接受學(xué)校教授的指導(dǎo)，通過講 座和小組合作的形式，經(jīng)歷學(xué)術(shù)科研的所有環(huán)節(jié)，包括擬定課題、分析問題、文獻(xiàn)檢 索、設(shè)計(jì)項(xiàng)目、撰寫項(xiàng)目建議書、數(shù)據(jù)收集等以達(dá)到撰寫調(diào)研報(bào)告和論文發(fā)表。
人文素養(yǎng)的能力培養(yǎng)和人文學(xué)術(shù)科研研討課程的收獲將直接影響并體現(xiàn)在學(xué)生申請(qǐng) 國(guó)外大學(xué)時(shí)的學(xué)術(shù)科研能力及寫作能力的證明,教授的推薦信更將成為學(xué)校錄取的關(guān)鍵 背書。
Taking Liberal Arts Education as a core, our Elite curriculum integrated a series of seminars based on Humanities and Academics Research with middle school education system. It aims to cultivate students with advanced humanistic and academic capability in order to prepare them for a successful life in university and beyond. What’s more, this initiative will equip students with unique advantages in prestigious British and American universities admission, and help them successfully cross the cultural barriers of the world’ s top universities.
We drench students in four modules “Critical Thinking” “Writing and Reading (historical articles)”, “Debate Skills " and " Compassion” to foster their humanities achievement. Each year, elite students will be selected to receive guidance from professors of elite universities. Through lectures and teamwork, students will experience all fields of academic research including drawing up project, analyzing questions, retrieving documents, designing project, writing project proposals and collecting data to compose research report and publish essays.
When students apply for universities, all skills and knowledge acquired from humanities and academics research courses will present to admission officers showing their research ability and writing skill. The letter of recommendations from professors will provide key endorsement assisting their application for famous universities.
