        ABOUT WES

        長沙瑋希外籍人員子女學校(原長沙瑋希國際學校)成立于2010年,是湖南省一所國家教育部批準設立的國際學校,是國際文憑組織授權的IB世界學校、CAIE授權的劍橋國際學校、微軟認證學校和國際學校聯(lián)盟認證的CIS國際學校。學校是湖南省一所以英語為第一教學語言的學校,主要招收外籍人士子女及海歸人才子女,為3-19歲學生提供完整、專業(yè)的國際課程。

        Changsha WES Academy was established in 2010. It is the only international school in Hunan Province approved by the Ministry of Education of China. The school is authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) as an IB World School, authorized by Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) as a Cambridge International School, certified as a Microsoft Certified School, and accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS). It is the only school in Hunan Province that uses English as the primary language of instruction. The school mainly enrolls children of foreign nationals and returnees, providing a complete and professional international curriculum for students aged 3 to 19 years old.

        The high school department of Changsha WES Academy offers mainstream international high school programs such as Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A-Level, International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), and International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP). It provides a wide range of course options, strong background support, and professional college counseling services for high school students who aspire to study abroad, ensuring that each student can pursue their ideal university based on their own interests, strengths, and plans.

        Changsha WES International High School provides students with a multi-dimensional, tiered million scholarship policy, evaluating scholarships based on students' academic performance, participation in extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, community service, and other achievements. Both external applicants and current students can apply for scholarships. The policy includes different levels of scholarships covering partial to full tuition fees, as well as scholarships for further education. WES scholarship policy encourages students to strive for excellence in all aspects of education and personal growth, while also providing support for students who demonstrate outstanding talent and dedication.

        我們會通過遞進式面談和系統(tǒng)的生涯規(guī)劃,培養(yǎng)學生對學術規(guī)劃和職業(yè)規(guī)劃的認知,并進行針對性指導并會引導學生參與各類研究型課外活動以及指導學生獨立完成大學申請文書寫作,協(xié)助完成申請各項步驟。

        We will cultivate students' awareness of academic and career planning through progressive interviews and systematic career planning. We will provide targeted guidance and encourage students to participate in various research-based extracurricular activities. We will also guide students in independently completing college application essays and assist them in completing all application steps.

        02-社會實踐|CAS(Creativity、Activity、Service)

        CAS一直以來作為IBDP課程里學生必修的三大核心之一,如同IB課程價值觀的指明燈,不僅幫助學生發(fā)展為獨一無二的個體,為學生提供探索個人興趣、體現(xiàn)個人熱情、性格與觀點的機會。也給予了學生在學習之余更多的樂趣和眼界。

        CAS has long been one of the three cores required of students in the IBDP, and serves as a beacon of values for the IB curriculum, not only helping students develop as unique individuals and providing them with opportunities to explore their personal interests and reflect their passions, personalities and perspectives. It also gives students the opportunity to have more fun and see beyond their studies.

        For WESer, the annual support activities for  Longshan Liye Ethnic High School have become the most special and memorable part of their CAS Trip. In recent years, the students have organized activities such as Christmas blind box events, spring music concert charity sales, art auctions, and the annual Longshan teaching support activity. Each child is doing his or her best to help them.
