I received a Master of Arts in Digital Arts from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. For several years I worked as a freelance director, animator and part-time animation lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. I have been teaching English in China for two years now, and I am currently teaching academic reading and writing; science; ESL and art classes. I like living in China because it gives me the opportunity to study Mandarin and learn more about Chinese culture.

畢業(yè)學(xué)校：University of Colorado at Boulder(科羅拉多大學(xué)博爾德分校) 教授科目：Listening&Speaking，GPR，Business，Western Culture I’m Chris, a teacher here at the Hangzhou ACT and Cambridge Center. I graduated in 2010 from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a double major in International Affairs and Political Science. I have been living and teaching in China for four and a half years and I teach a wide variety of subjects, including: Western Cultures, Global Perspectives, AP Economics, AP US History, Business Studies, and Communication skills. I have a strong passion for imparting the knowledge and skills I have gained during my own experiences academically and professionally to improve my students’ abilities to understand complex issues, analyse them from different perspectives, and use those abilities to promote their own successes, not just academically, but personally and professionally as well. In addition to promoting success in these categories, it is my hope to inspire a genuine thirst for knowledge to benefit them for the rest of their lives.

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2013 and majored in English Literature. I have been living in China for over a year and my academic focus in English as a Foreign Language. Using Western classroom and teaching techniques, I work to improve students’ levels of written and spoken English. As students advance from English as a Second Language into English as a First Language, my classes build upon their foundational knowledge to equip them with a linguistic toolkit. These skills assist students to critically assess written and spoken language, crucial to future careers in international fields. Their knowledge is further advanced with practical skills in article writing, speech-making, and presentation skills.

畢業(yè)學(xué)校：College of William and Mary(美國第二所大學(xué)，第一所是哈佛) 教授科目：Reading & Writing Kirstjen has been teaching Reading & Writing, TOEFL/ACT Writing, Business, and Economics courses at ACT Centre, Zhejiang University since 2011. She encourages students to be original, analytical, and to use their own words and ideas! Originally from the Washington, DC area, Kirstjen attended The College of William and Mary and moved to New York City after graduation. A few years later, she decided to see what China had to offer! When she isn't teaching, she enjoys traveling with her husband, studying Chinese, practicing yoga, reading, and running.
