一、學(xué)校簡介

深圳市深美外籍人員子女學(xué)校(以下簡稱深美)是一所Cognia認(rèn)證的國際學(xué)校，于2005年5月經(jīng)中華人民共和國國家教育部和廣東省教育廳批準(zhǔn)成立，旨在為港澳臺(tái)及外籍人員子女提供高質(zhì)量的國際教育。深美也是SAT和AP考試的內(nèi)部考點(diǎn)。

Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) is a Cognia accredited school which was established upon the approval of both the Ministry of Education of China and the Department of Educaiton of Guangdong Province in May, 2005. SAIS provides quility education services to foreign nationals as well as students from HK, Macau and Taiwan. SAIS is also an internal testing center for SAT and AP exams.

深美的使命是提供一個(gè)精英式、國際化的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，讓學(xué)生能夠全面發(fā)展，將所學(xué)知識(shí)、技能及思維習(xí)慣加以發(fā)展和實(shí)際應(yīng)用，從而在未來的學(xué)術(shù)、工作及個(gè)人生活上獲得成功。

Our mission is to provide an elite and international learning environment, so that students can develop in all aspects, and achieve success in academic, work and personal life in the future.

目前深美開設(shè)學(xué)前三歲至十二年級(jí)課程，采用嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)捻?xiàng)目式學(xué)習(xí)法幫助學(xué)生獨(dú)立、深度、高質(zhì)量地學(xué)習(xí)學(xué)術(shù)知識(shí)。深美遵循美國教學(xué)體系標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，使用美國洲際核心課程Common Core State Standards進(jìn)行整體課程安排，G1~G8采用新加坡數(shù)學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，中文課借鑒中國國家課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。就在今年5月，深美成功申請(qǐng)了IBPYP與IBDP的辦學(xué)資格，于2023秋季學(xué)期開始開設(shè)IB課程。

At present, SAIS offers courses from pre-K to 12th grade, and adopts a rigorous project-based learning method to help students learn academic knowledge independently, deeply and with high quality. SAIS follows the standards of the American teaching system and uses the American Common Core State Standards for the overall curriculum arrangement. G1~G8 adopts the Singapore mathematics standards, and the Chinese class draws on the Chinese national curriculum standards. Just in May of this year, we successfully applied for the qualifications of IBPYP and IBDP, and will start offering IB courses in the coming semester.

深美教學(xué)樓設(shè)施齊全，緊鄰蛇口青少年活動(dòng)中心及蛇口體育中心，為學(xué)生提供了充足的室內(nèi)外各類體育運(yùn)動(dòng)場地，如四百米田徑場、足球場及籃球場。

SAIS teaching building is well-equipped and is adjacent to the Shekou Youth Activity Center and the Shekou Sports Center. It provides students with ample indoor and outdoor sports venues, such as a 400-meter track field, football field and basketball court.

Personalized Counseling

深美升學(xué)指導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)為8-12年級(jí)學(xué)生提供系統(tǒng)、個(gè)性化的升學(xué)指導(dǎo)。升學(xué)指導(dǎo)服務(wù)包括但不限于根據(jù)學(xué)生個(gè)性挖掘亮點(diǎn)、選課指導(dǎo)、標(biāo)化考試規(guī)劃、軟實(shí)力背景提升、職業(yè)發(fā)展探索，以及牛校申請(qǐng)文書和面試指導(dǎo)等。升學(xué)指導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)由來自耶魯大學(xué)、哥倫比亞大學(xué)等牛校的咨詢師組成。

Our counseling team provides sytematic and personalized guidance for students in G8-G12. The counseling services inculde, but are not limited to, understanding students' personality, mining personal highlights, course selection guidance, application standardized examination planning, soft-guidance for prestigious universities. The counseling team is composed of teachers from Yale University, Columbia University and other world prestigious universities.

Bring together the global maths curriculum research and development resources, tailor-made advanced mathematics advanced programs for young people, and actively participate in international  competitions. Carry out artificial intelligence special courses, walk at the forefront of technology and look forward to the world, and stand on the shoulders of giants to create the future intelligently.

中學(xué)階段，深美開設(shè)了具有挑戰(zhàn)性的高等數(shù)學(xué)課程和人工智能拓展課程，涵蓋編程、數(shù)學(xué)建模、算法、大數(shù)據(jù)、區(qū)塊鏈、5G技術(shù)等模塊。

In middle school, we offered challenging advanced mathes courses and AI expansion courses, covering modules such as programming, modeling, algorithms, big data, blockchain, and 5G technology.

03面向未來的項(xiàng)目式學(xué)習(xí)法——PBL

Project-Based Learning

基于項(xiàng)目的學(xué)習(xí)法不同于美國傳統(tǒng)課堂模式，它比傳統(tǒng)教學(xué)更能激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的自主性與積極性。在學(xué)習(xí)過程中，學(xué)生將會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)如何通過延伸的探究過程來應(yīng)對(duì)復(fù)雜的問題、狀況和挑戰(zhàn)。經(jīng)過嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)設(shè)計(jì)的教學(xué)項(xiàng)目可以幫助學(xué)生掌握關(guān)鍵的學(xué)術(shù)內(nèi)容，同時(shí)培養(yǎng)辯證性與批判性思維，提升協(xié)同合作與自主創(chuàng)新的能力。學(xué)生們還能在項(xiàng)目過程中掌握撰寫高質(zhì)量、高信度與效度陳述報(bào)告的能力——這些能力與技能都是他們未來成為企業(yè)家、科學(xué)家的堅(jiān)固基石。

The project-based learning is different from the traditional classroom in the US. It can stimulate students' enthusiasm in learning.

During the process of their studies, students will learn how to deal with complex problems, situations and challenges through an extended process of inquiry. PBL can help students master key academic content, cultivate dialectical and critical thinking, and enhance the ability of collaboration and independent innovation. Students can also master the ability to write high-quality reports during the course of the project, and these abilities are the solid cornerstones for them to succeed in the future.

Athletics and Clubs

體育與藝術(shù)類課程開設(shè)豐富的俱樂部供興趣不同的學(xué)生選擇，盡可能地發(fā)揮學(xué)生的潛力、天分，更重要的是從中培養(yǎng)學(xué)生擁有健康的生活方式和審美能力，以及堅(jiān)韌不拔、鍥而不舍的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度。

Sports and art courses offer a wealth of clubs for students with different interests to choose from, so as to maximize the potential and talent of students, and more importantly, cultivate students to have a healthy lifestyle and aesthetic ability, as well as perseverant learning attitude.

05實(shí)地考察研學(xué)

Field Trips

深美的很多課程中都包含了此部分，由該科目教師帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生外出進(jìn)行實(shí)地考察，讓學(xué)生們?cè)诮佑|自然的同時(shí)，將實(shí)踐與理論進(jìn)行融合，從而使學(xué)生更好地掌握該學(xué)科知識(shí)，如華僑城濕地公園探索、四海公園徒步、大梅沙海濱考察、實(shí)地潛水等。

Teachers lead the students to go out for field trips, so that students can integrate practice and theory while contacting nature, so that students can better master the knowledge of this subject, such as Exploration of OCT Wetland Park, hiking in Sihai Park, seaside inspection of Dameisha, field diving, etc.

06社會(huì)公益服務(wù)

Community Service

深美為在校生提供參與公益活動(dòng)的平臺(tái)，如茂名支教、“愛心樹”、“未來之星藝術(shù)圓夢(mèng)”等慈善項(xiàng)目。除此之外，深美也支持學(xué)生們自發(fā)組織慈善公益項(xiàng)目。

We provide a platform for students to participate in public welfare activities, such as Maoming Education Support, "Love Tree", "Future Star Art Dream" and other charitable projects. In addition, we also supports them to organize charity projects spontaneously.
