武漢澳洲國際學(xué)校在2019年舉辦過大大小小多場賽事，為學(xué)生提供了多次展示自己的國際舞臺。一年的末尾也要是五彩繽紛的，忙碌中也希望和大家分享一些色彩。

　　Wuhan Australian International School has held many competitions in 2019, which provides students with an international stage to show themselves. Even at the end of the year, we must have a colorful campus life and share happiness with everyone in the hectic.

　　There are 25 students in a class and everyone is involved.

　　你背不下來的書，總有人能背下來。你做不出來的題，總有人能做出來。你愿意拖到明天的事，總有人今天努力做完。WAIS可愛的同學(xué)們不止于筆尖，不止于自己。IB的積極主動探究已經(jīng)悄然改變了他們的學(xué)習(xí)方法與學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度，武漢澳洲國際學(xué)校要做到的，是在此基礎(chǔ)上，給每個孩子展示的機會，一個不落!

　　If you can't recite a book, someone will. If you can't do it, someone will. If you want to put off something until tomorrow, someone will try to finish it today. Our WAIS students are always strive for progress. The active inquiry quality in IB has gradually changed their learning methods and attitudes. What Wuhan Australian International School need to do is to provide stages to every child.

　　Shining bright light made a call

　　驛動的夢想隨風(fēng)起航，炫彩的少年璀璨如光。英語是文化和藝術(shù)的載體， 豐富多彩的英語文化給我們帶來了全新的視野和創(chuàng)造的活力。武漢澳洲國際學(xué)校第一屆英語節(jié)在IB集會上悄然開幕，一周時間，一至三年級的同學(xué)每人都繪制了一份以shining bright light為主題的海報，四至七年級同學(xué)設(shè)計徽標，通過公開透明投票，評選出海報較佳創(chuàng)意獎和會徽較佳設(shè)計獎。

　　The lovely teenagers are as bright as light and their dreams are also colorful. English is the carrier of culture and art. The rich and colorful English culture has brought us a new vision and creative vitality.The first English Festival of Wuhan Australian International School opened with the IB assembly. In one week, students from grade one to grade three drew posters with the theme of Shining Bright Light. Students from grade four to grade seven designed the logo. By open and transparent voting, the Best Creative Award and the Best Design Award were elected .

　　同學(xué)們收到征集令，用大膽的創(chuàng)意、豐富的想象力，以及對英語的無限熱情支持著WAIS英語藝術(shù)節(jié)，繪畫出自己眼中的英語節(jié)模樣。參與，嘗試，選擇，全員參與，英語節(jié)的魅力不僅僅在臺上才有。

　　The students supported the WAIS English Art Festival with bold creativity, rich imagination, and unlimited passion for English, and they painted the English Festival in their eyes.The charm of English Festival is not only on the stage but also reflected in their fully participation and their repeated trying.

　　歷經(jīng)了25天的精彩活動，我校第一屆英語藝術(shù)節(jié)完美展示了學(xué)生這學(xué)期的收獲，WAIS可愛的同學(xué)們便是這樣。他們總能給人驚喜，在多彩的舞臺上，盡情展示自己。英語節(jié)對他們來說不是匯報演出，不是結(jié)束，而是每一個學(xué)習(xí)歷程的小小節(jié)點，把自己的所學(xué)所感，用有趣的方式展示出來，臺上風(fēng)光，臺下練習(xí)。他們比別人強，不是沒有道理的。

　　After 25 days of wonderful activities, the first English Art Festival of our school perfectly shows the students' harvest of this semester. The lovely students in WAIS can always surprise people and show themselves on the stage. For them, English Festival is not a final report performance, but a small period of each learning process, which shows their feelings in an interesting way.It is undeniable that the excellent performance on the stage can not be separated from the hard training under the stage.

　　The lights were dim in the hall, and the students followed the only light in the hall. The teacher who raised the lights was the lighthouse, always guiding the direction .There is light in their eyes and love in their hearts. On the way of growth, let's strive together to move forward and illuminate the future.

　　早在英語節(jié)之前，WAIS為了培養(yǎng)同學(xué)們的環(huán)保意識及良好的行為習(xí)慣，就有開展過關(guān)于垃圾分類的主題班會，為了促進垃圾分類，培養(yǎng)同學(xué)們的環(huán)境保護意識以及良好的行為習(xí)慣，學(xué)校在上周開展了一場關(guān)于垃圾分類的主題班會，這次，同學(xué)們將其分鏡寫劇，編排成微電影啦~

　　Before the English Festival, in order to cultivate students' environmental awareness and good behavior habits, WAIS held a theme class on garbage classification .The school launched a theme class on garbage classification last week. On this class , the students wrote the drama scenes and arranged it into a micro movie.

　　好的教育就是這樣，不是告訴你什么是好的，而是帶著你一起體驗嘗試。親身經(jīng)歷過，才是較深刻的教學(xué)。

　　A good education is not about telling you what is good , it is about taking you to experience together. Personal experience is the most profound teaching.

　　When you are the member of the MUN, you are no longer a drop in the ocean , you are one of the 193 countries, you represent the country and the people. What you hold in your hands will be the blueprint for building a peaceful world . The "Model United Nations" is the stage for the youth of the world . The model United Nations conference is full of vitality, full of hope and dreams.

　　這是一個滿載收獲的日子，美好的時光總是短暫的，但是美好的回憶將會被永遠銘記于心，同時，這也是我們追求英語學(xué)習(xí)的開始。有人說：“英語是通往世界的橋梁”，我們一直在昂首闊步的走在征途的路上。

　　This is a day full of harvest.The good time is always short，but the good memories will always be remembered , at the same time, this is also the beginning of our pursuit of English learning. Someone says,"English is the bridge to the world", we have been striding forward on the journey.
